About This Spot
Stepping into Morrisons Cafe in Guiseley feels like settling into a familiar, easygoing spot where the daily rhythm slows just enough to enjoy a moment of genuine comfort. Situated along Otley Road, this long, narrow space embraces a quietly welcoming atmosphere, softened by pastel-colored chairs and simple, thoughtfully arranged tables that offer pockets of calm amidst the steady flow of shoppers and locals. It’s the kind of place where both regulars and passersby seem to find their preferred seat — whether close to the light-filled windows or tucked away by the counter.
The pace here is unhurried but purposeful, with the hum of conversation gently mingling with the soft clatter of cups and cutlery. Friendly faces manning the counters create a sense of ease, especially for those discovering the cafe for the first time. A touch of modern convenience is found in the self-service machines, making ordering straightforward without losing the human connection that comes from a quick greeting or a subtle nod of shared understanding.
This cafe invites visitors to linger over more than just a meal. It’s a place where mornings might begin with the satisfying warmth of a freshly brewed Black Americano or where a weekend brunch unfolds over comforting dishes crafted with care and familiarity. Even families feel welcomed here — a modest play area for children reflects the inclusive, everyday nature of the space. The food carries a straightforward honesty, fresh and thoughtfully prepared, a reassuring sort of sustenance that fits seamlessly into the ebb and flow of a casual local day.
Morrisons Cafe in Guiseley doesn’t ask for attention through flair or fanfare. Instead, it offers a quietly consistent experience — one where quality, kindness, and a sense of belonging come together. It’s a moment of pause between errands, a place to reconnect over a well-made meal, and a small but steady slice of community in the heart of a busy neighborhood.

With all the rebuilding within Morrisons stores to the now familiar looking Market street there have been changes in other departments too . The cafe has been added onto by taking up space from the car park . All done out in the now familiar pastel coloured chairs and tables . It’s still long and narrow and the disability friendly tables can be hard to locate. Help is available at the counter as it’s divided into two to accommodate the narrow kitchen . Also separate is the hot drinks stand . It can be a little tight with a large wheelchair and care has to be taken not to block the aisle between tables . A saving grace here is the fact that they have a separate Barista bar by the main entrance which sells tea coffee etc . This bar is Licensed!! Both the cafe and barista bar have a view into the car park. Also has a digital ordering system added for convenience.

Nice cafe. Has a little area with toys for kids to play. Have a self service machine like McDonald’s which is quite handy nice helpful staff. Coffee was nice. The full English was good. Nicely cooked and tasty. Good value.

Cheap food and fairly good quality. With the introduction of a new digital ordering system, this Morrison's makes ordering food so very easy. With a good selection of fresh cakes and a decent collection of hot food, all served up with drinks of your choice. Only loses the one star due to the tea being a bit weak for me.
